2022-2023 Registration Information: FYI the PowerSchool App on your phone does NOT work for registration.
Register Returning Students Now for 2022-2023: If your student attended any of the Mountain Home schools this year, please log into your Parent Portal to register for the upcoming school year. Classes are being built now. In order for your child to be placed in a class, please complete registration by Monday, June 6th. If you are having trouble, call the school at 208-587-2585.
To find the Parent Portal site, go to www.mtnhomesd.org and click on the Parents and Student tab. Then choose “PowerSchool Parent Portal” from the dropdown list. If you are unsure of your Parent Portal username and/or password, you can follow the “Forgot Your Username or Password” directions on the site. Once you log in, you will be asked if your student is returning to the MHSD and which school he/she will be attending. You will then update the contact information, emergency contact information, and emergency messaging contact information. Once you have submitted this information, your student will be considered registered for the 2022-2023 school year. You will need to complete these steps for each of your returning students. If your student is NOT returning to the MHSD, then you will answer “No” to the first question and document where they will be attending. This will help us know who is returning and who is not, however, please let the school know as well, by calling or stopping by, so we are sure to send records to his/her new school.
New Students to the MHSD Do you know any new families in Mountain Home who are planning to register their children at North Elementary? If so, let them know they can register for the 2022-2023 school year NOW. This includes any student Kindergarten through 4th grade. This can be done on-line at the following link: https://www.mtnhomesd.org/new-student-registration.html. Upon registering a student for school, the parent will need to provide a certified birth certificate and current shot records. These two documents must be on file prior to your child attending school. If they have any questions, they can call the school at 208-587-2585.
Bus Registration~ Returning bus students can register beginning June 1st by calling Caldwell Bus Company at 208-587-8045. New students will need to complete the form at Caldwell Bus Company or on the website: www.mtnhomesd.org. Returning and new students need to register each year.
In August, complete the 2022-2023 Free and Reduced Breakfast & Lunch form. Lunch will not be free next year. You MUST re-apply for Free & Reduced Meals every year!
